After try-ins, resin matrix crowns were mechanically polished (GC05 Twist Polisher Kit, Meisinger, Neuss, Germany) and glass-ceramic crowns were fired for crystallization (Vita Vacumat 6000 M, Vita Zahnfabrik, Bad Säckingen, Germany) in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations. Internal adaptation of all pre-sintered and resin matrix crowns were checked with a light-body silicone material and required adjustments on occlusal and approximal contacts were made.
